NABH is seeking a compassionate Public Health Nurse to provide mandated Board of Health functions, community activities, home visits, education in public/disease prevention in the Nashoba district. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Conducts Communicable Disease Investigation reporting, surveillance and follow-up.
Provides individual and community education to promote health and wellness.
Provides immunizations to community members via clinics, home visits and/or other organized local event.
Addresses disease prevention, chronic disease management and harm reduction through ongoing individual and community assessments and targeted teaching.

• Minimum qualifications include successful completion of a certified RN nursing program, current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse, current certification in CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Experience in community nursing and health education, along with a knowledge of public health is preferred.
